“The Seven Chakras” Your Source for Metaphysical and Wiccan Supplies and Gifts ~ How To Write Spells ~ Magickal Spells |
Well the first thing that you should know, especially if you have never written a spell before, is that what goes around comes around. In other words, if your spell has bad intention or is to hurt someone, it will come back to haunt you ten fold! SO be nice and only do spells to empower yourself, your environment and to serve the betterment. Now you are more than welcome to uses the spells I have made on this site word for word. But it is always better to do your own. You can “tweak” the spells to make them your own, no problem. But these are mainly here to help you on your path. I write my spells totally different than other people. Spell writing is all about intent, word play and the longing (wishing) for something. So therefore your spell should have all of that in it. I have looked at others’ spells on the web and laughed to myself because I know it did not work for them. I rarely have a problem when I write a spell and it usually manifests itself within a day or two, depending on how “big” the spell is. But 1st you need to know the 4 rules I have with spells! 1. Make sure when you write the spell it comes from the heart and has total meaning for you or someone you love or care about. 2. Make sure it Rhymes!!!! I know some will say it does not have to, but it does! That is called “word play” and that is very important. 3. Make sure the spell flows throughout and it is well thought out before doing it. 4. Most importantly... When you are writing an finalizing your spell. MAKE SURE... you believe 100% that it is going to come true. That is what manifesting is all about. Believing in yourself and what you put out there. |

Choosing your Supplies |

Now this is all preference. I personally only use parchment paper and color pencils. I used the parchment paper cause it has the old historic connection to ancestry and it looks good. The colored pencils are used cause colors have meanings, and if I have a certain purpose with the spell, I use that associated colored pencil to help enhance the spell. Here is a perfect color chart in the candle section of this website! |

Writing your Intent |
Now with the spell writing. The first thing you need to do is write your intent. What that means is: So with all this, you write this around the parameter of the page. (The 4 edges) So always start at the top of the page, left hand corner. (write small) then continue down the right long side of the paper, turning the page so it is always in front of you from left to right. Do this on all 4 edges. And make sure you fill up all for edges! No big gaps! Or that will make it like there are holes in your spell itself. No Repeating either! So when you are finished with “intent” writing, when you look at your page as a whole, it will look like you have a word frame around your spell you are about to write. This in essence is “sealing the deal” with your spell. |

Writing your Spell |
Now it is time to write your spell. The key to writing a good spell is the word play. By that I mean, making it rhyme and flow. You can see this with the spells I have written. Yes, I know that some of the spells are cheese, LOL. But who really cares as long as the spells work! Now the way I write my spells are in 3 paragraphs, sometimes 4 if it is a BIG spell. Then in each paragraph, the last word of the 2nd line always rhymes with the last word of the 4th line. So each paragraph will have 4 lines in it. Overall each spell will have 12 lines total. And for all you out there that are into “numerology”, 1+2 = 3 which is a very psychic and metaphysical number. And furthermore with the 4 paragraph spell, it will have a total of 16 lines and 1+6 = 7 which is the number of “Luck”. So by understanding this little bit, you can see how everything you do has meaning and there is a “Big Picture” to it all. Just remember that as you are writing your spells. Everything is connected, all words have meaning and purpose. Here is an example of a paragraph: I ask for you Now this is just a short and simple paragraph so you can get the idea. I have highlighted the rhyming words in BOLD. And note how the 1st and 3rd line is CAPITALIZED. Also note the comma after the 2nd line and the period at the end of the 4th line. All these things are very important to the spell. It emphasizes the important areas of the spell and shows direction to the spell itself. So don’t forget these important pieces to your spell puzzle!!! |

Finalizing your Spell |
Now when you are all finished writing your intent around the parameter of the paper, writing your 3 or 4 paragraphs of the spell, the next step is to sign the paper! Sign it in your name, your signature just as you would sign a letter you just wrote. Put your signature in the lower right part of the paper, just under your spell, just like you would when you write a letter. The signature is a very important and final step of the spell writing. This is your seal. This in essence seals what you just asked for and said. This makes it yours! Once you have signed the spell. Roll the spell up, in scroll form, from bottom to top, quickly run the exposed edge of the scrolled spell through your lit candle to seal the scroll and then tie you cylinder shaped spell in the center with a ribbon, string, raffia, or even a rubber band. I actually use the small black hair rubber bands. They are the perfect size and I believe that the black of the rubber band protects the spell. Black dispells negative energy, so therefore it is a perfect color to use. Now once you have it all scrolled and tied up, you need to take and say a prayer, what ever you wish to say. This one is totally up to you. And then through the cylinder opening of your scroll pass through either a magnet or magnetic sands. (In one opening and out the other end.) This action is very important cause you are “charging up” your spell and therefore attracting anything and everything that is needed to get your spell taken care of business. After the magnet, you need to put your spell away. Either in your alter, in a drawer, or spell box. Just make sure that you put it away in a safe place. There is no need to EVER look at it again. And better yet, don’t look at it again! I have never gone back and opened up one of my spells. I personally don’t think it is a good idea. Look at it as Pandora’s Box. it is sealed for a reason! So the best thing you can get is a spell box. I make the perfect sized box for the spells HERE! Once you place your finished spell in the box, forget about it and go on with your day. The higher powers will begin their work to get your spell granted. |
